Single Sign-on(SSO) solution for BambooHR is a cloud based service. With this service you need only one password for all your web & SaaS apps including BambooHR. miniOrange provides secure access and full control to BambooHR for enterprises and applications. With the help of the given guide you can configure BambooHR easily.

miniOrange and BambooHR Single Sign-On (SSO) integration supports the following features:

• SP Initiated Single Sign-On (SSO)
• IdP Initiated Single Sign-On (SSO)

Follow the Step-by-Step Guide given below for BambooHR Single Sign-On (SSO)

• Enter the SP Entity ID or Issuer as BambooHR-SAML.
• Enter the ACS URL as https://[domain-name].bamboohr.com/saml/consume.php.
• Select the Name ID: as an E-mail address.
• Select NameID format as:

• urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress

• Leave the Attributes section empty.



• Scroll to the Add Policy and select DEFAULT from the Group Name dropdown.
• Now enter the name for your app authentication policy(eg BambooHR) in the Policy Name field.
• Select PASSWORD from the First Factor Type dropdown.
• Click on Save to add BambooHR.



• Click on theMetadata link to view Metadata. Click on Link to see the IDP initiated SSO link for BambooHR.



• Copy SAML Login URL and x.509 certificate from the Metadata.
• If you want to set any External IdP then copy the SAML Login URL and x.509 certificate from the Information required to Authenticate via External IDPs

2. Configure SSO in BambooHR

• Now login to BambooHR Admin Console and Select Settings icon Tab from Admin Console.




• From listed on left select Apps.




• Scroll Down and select SAML Single Sign-On option




• A pop-up will appear




• Enter SSO Login URL: Paste the SAML Login URL copied in Step 1.
• Enter x.509 certificate: Paste the certificate provided in Step 1.
• Click on Install.
